Alan Quinn

Group Financial Director

BCom BAcc (Wits 1989), FQE 1990

After graduating from Wits in 1989 Alan completed his articles with KPMG. He then returned to Wits as a lecturer in Accounting and Auditing where he co-wrote the first year accounting text book.

In 1996 Alan joined the Internal Audit department of Anglo American as the Professional Development Manager. He left Anglo in 1997 to join the Hoechst South Africa Group as Head of internal Audit.

In 1999 the Hoechst Group unbundled and Alan was involved in a management buyout of the IT department which provided SAP services to the ex group. This company was sold to the IOCORE group where Alan became the Group Financial Director.

In 2004 The IOCORE group unbundled and Alan bought back the SAP practice where he jointly ran this company until June 2010 when he joined Supercare as the Group Financial Director.
